I experienced this very thing yesterday at work when confronted by a relationship from the past. Instead of immediatley responding to the person. I felt the feelings..spoke with my sponsors ..and prayed all evening about it. That gave GOD time to work and the end result was a reconciled friendship with someone I have truly missed being in my life. If I had responded immediatley out of the guilt shame and remorse it may have come off as an insincere apology. Thank you Jesus for your word and your servants.
